Hand made oil on gesso on archival acid free paper. The pigments are derived from Jurassic mud rock and repurposed industrial graphite from the steel works in Middlesborough, collected by my Uncle in the 1970s when the plant closed. Embodied in the work is the idea of the cyclic nature of all things, both natural and human.
