Made during the Covid Pandemic I made a series of over 100 paintings with this spiral form. Over the period of making the paintings shift from panic and chaos to calm and acceptance. They are made with carbon black and ochre, once again prehistoric pigments that have always been in our fingers, on our palettes next to us in our experience of life.
